Ford Bronco Reservation FAQ
You’ve Got Questions about Ford Bronco Reservations: We Have Answers
The 2023 Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco Sport are the most highly anticipated vehicles for the new model year. If you don’t want to miss being one of the first people on the block to bring one home, let Ray Skillman Ford help with your Ford Bronco Reservation today.
When is the Ford Bronco 2023 Release Date?
For those with an existing Ford Bronco reservation number, 2023 Bronco order options start on September 12th, 2022. Ford Bronco order banks for new customers are expected to open until November 14th at the earliest. Ford has yet to announce an official date, but the last day for existing reservations to be updated is November 21st. New orders will most likely happen after that.
Is Bronco Production Behind Schedule?
When Ford revived the Bronco, it quickly racked up over 160,000 reservations. This easily exceeded Ford’s production capacity, which didn’t even consider the delays caused by the computer chip shortage, supply-line delays, and other issues during the height of the pandemic. Ford has been working hard to fill its backlog. The demand for this SUV continues to grow, which means Ford is still playing catchup.
Who Can Make a 2023 Bronco Order?
Priority goes to shoppers who already have a Bronco reservation number. Since these drivers are already on the “waiting list” for a new Bronco, they will get first dibs. Since production for the 2023 Bronco won’t start for a few months, it is still possible to get the 2022 model while supplies/production last.
Are Ford Reservation Numbers Fulfilled in the Order Placed?
Reservations are being fulfilled in the approximate order they were received. The order may be adjusted based on final order numbers and production of similar configured Broncos. All reservations are expected to be completed before the production of stock units begins.
How Long Does It Take to Get My Bronco?
Lead times vary by model and configuration. Ford makes every effort to expedite orders, and Ray Skillman Ford does our best to keep you updated. You can work with your dealer to configure your order to improve the chances that your Bronco will be built sooner if you are in a rush and don’t have specific needs.
How Will I Be Notified When My Bronco Is Ready?
Once your vehicle is complete, it will be shipped to your preferred Ford dealer. A representative from that dealership will contact you to confirm its arrival, collect any additional information needed, and schedule a convenient time and location to deliver your new Bronco to you.
When Is the Last Day to Convert My Ford Reservation Number to a New Bronco Reservation?
Shoppers with existing and unfulfilled reservations for the 2022 Ford Bronco have until November 21st, 2022, to upgrade to the 2023 Bronco. If you do not update your order by the deadline, your reservation will be canceled, and the deposit will be returned.
What is a Reservation?
A reservation is how you get on the list to purchase a new Ford Bronco. Since the demand is so high for this incredible Ford SUV, shoppers cannot merely walk into a dealership and buy one off of the lot. A reservation requires a refundable deposit and is not an actual order; it does not guarantee delivery.
How Much is the Deposit?
Reservations are currently $100 for either the Ford Bronco or Ford Bronco Sport. Your local Ford dealer may require an additional deposit; check with your preferred Ford dealer for details.
Is the Deposit Refundable?
Reservation fees are entirely refundable with your reservation cancellation.
Does Ordering a Vehicle Cost More Than Buying on a Lot?
Ford does not charge extra for direct orders. The final sales price
How do I Complete a Reservation?
To obtain a Ford Bronco reservation number, you can go online and explore all of your “Ford Bronco 2023 Build and Price” options. Once you select your preferred configuration, create a Ford Account and choose your preferred dealer. You will also enter your credit/debit card information for the deposit and your address. You will get a confirmation receipt in the e-mail you provide.
Do I Need a Ford Account?
A Ford Account allows you to log into the Ford website to save and manage your personal and reservation information. A Ford Account is free to create and is required to reserve all Ford Bronco 2023 models.
Can I Select Any Ford Dealer?
You can select Ford dealers that are eligible and have activated online reservations. You will get a list of eligible dealers based on your zip code, or you can enter the name of your preferred location.
What Is the Final Sales Price?
All Ford dealers are independent franchises. The final price that a customer will pay for a 2023 Ford Bronco is agreed upon between themselves and their Ford dealer. This price could be below, at, or above the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Make sure you get a signed, written order once you negotiate the final price. If you have additional questions, you can contact the Ford Bronco Support Team at 800-334-4375.
Is There Price Protection Available?
Ford will honor pricing based on when your reservation was placed. Ford provides a certificate for a similarly equipped vehicle that covers pricing differences. Your dealership needs to apply the certificate at the time you accept delivery of your Bronco. Keep in mind that the final transaction details, including the price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer. Make sure to get a signed price agreement from the dealership to protect your price. Price protection does not apply when converting to a Bronco Raptor or Heritage Limited Edition.
Can I Finance My Order?
Check with your local dealership to explore all of your financing and lease options.
How to Track My Bronco Order Status Ordering With a Dealer?
Once your order has been officially established, your dealer will be able to provide you with your assigned VIN. You can then track it at https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/.

There will only be 1,966 two-door Broncos, and 1,966 four-door Broncos produced. Heritage Limited Edition Broncos will be allocated to dealers and are not available to order. Contact your Ford dealer for availability.
Can I Convert My Current Order to a Heritage or Heritage Limited Edition?
Existing reservations can be converted to the Heritage Edition. Contact your dealer to update your Bronco reservation. Due to the limited production of the Heritage Limited Edition, this version of the Bronco will not be available for orders. Heritage Limited Edition Broncos will be allocated to dealers and are not available to order. Contact your Ford dealer for availability.
When Will Heritage and Heritage Limited Editions Be Available?
Deliveries of these upgrade packages should start in the second quarter of 2023.
Can I Make Changes to My Reservation?
You can make changes when you convert your 2022 order to the 2023 model, including your Bronco’s configuration, equipment, and add-ons. Some changes will impact the price of your Bronco, so make sure to work with your dealer for all changes and an updated selling price.
Can I Cancel My Order
